Dedicated Pre-Departure Support

Your dedicated Program Coordinator will guide you through the preparation process before you depart, covering what to expect, housing details, neighborhood information, and key timelines. They'll be your main point of contact for questions and support from booking until the start of your trip.

Local Host Support

Your local Community Manager will offer support and guidance so you can make the most of your time abroad. Available at all scheduled activities and also via WhatsApp from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

Orientation

Your Community Manager will empower you to live like a local by covering topics such as logistics, public transport, neighborhood tips, cultural norms, and program details.

Welcome Party

A welcome gathering with drinks and light bites at the start of the program to meet fellow travelers, your Community Manager, and begin building community from day one.

Weekly Lunch Club

A hosted weekly lunch to bring the group together and share a meal, learn about the local culture, and experience a local hidden gem.

Weekly Cultural Activity

A curated cultural experience exclusively for our community—such as a walking tour, cooking class, or workshop—that connects you more deeply to local life.

Weekly Happy (to be 55+) Hour

More than just a couple of drinks, this is a time for our community to connect, socialize, and share weekend plans while enjoying local drinks.

Farewell Party

A hosted farewell gathering with a shared meal and drinks to reflect, celebrate new friendships, and mark the close of a meaningful chapter abroad.

Travel Medical Insurance

Travel medical insurance is included for the duration of the program, providing up to $100,000 USD in coverage for eligible medical expenses abroad, as well as $500,000 in Evacuation Insurance.

Frequently Asked Questions

Deposits are non refundable and are saved as a credit in your account towards a future booking. After that, cancellation policies vary based on how far out from your program start date you cancel. Please review our full cancellation policy for details. You can cancel your reservation directly in your Trip Portal after booking.

The program price includes dedicated pre-departure guidance, on-the-ground local support, orientation, and travel medical insurance, plus a full calendar of included experiences. You'll enjoy welcome and farewell gatherings, weekly lunches, cultural activities, social hours, and ongoing support to help you feel connected, supported, and immersed from day one.

Yes, you can change your reservation up to 120 days before your program start date. Changes are not possible after 120 days before your program start date. Changes are subject to availability and any price differences between programs. Please review our full change of program policy here. You can change your reservation directly in your Trip Portal after booking.

A non-refundable $495 per person deposit is due at booking. Your payment schedule depends on when you book:

  • 300+ days before departure: 50% of remaining at 300 days, final balance at 150 days before departure.
  • 299-150 days before departure: 50% of remaining within 10 days of booking, final balance at 150 days before departure.
  • Less than 150 days before departure: Full balance due within 10 days of booking.

You can also choose to pay in full at any time.

Our 1- and 2-bedroom apartments in the Signature program maintain the same high quality we've always offered. In select destinations, we can now provide Premium or Luxury options featuring upgraded amenities—such as balconies, private terraces, or scenic views—based on guest requests. These upgrades are available for those who want them, while our standard apartments remain unchanged.

After booking additional options will be shown, if available, 300 days before the program start date in your Trip Portal.
